My life has been a similar process of building a metaphoric nest -- acquiring such qualities as compassion, dedication, and leadership through a variety of experiences to prepare for a successful career as a physician. As a bird builds through changing seasons, I in like manner have prepared for the study of medicine throu gh variously themed seasons in my life.
